    Mark,

I bought an R-3 power rack from Rogue and am making a plywood platform for it. Will 4'x4' be large enough to not have to worry about it tipping over? The total thickness of the platform will be 1 3/4" and I'm just going to bolt the rack down to it.

I don't know the dimensions of the Rogue R-3 Rack, so I can't tell you. If I were you, I'd measure it and make the platform according to the dimensions obtained from your measurements.

I have two R-3 racks, and if you are just bolting it to the platform, I don't think 4x4 will be sufficient. You can email Bill or someone else at Rogue if you need to talk details. I would highly recommend bolting the rack to the floor if you can.
