    Hi Tom,

Unfortunately, I couldn't even squat the bar without pain at the London training camp, so I'm hoping you'll be kind enough to take the time to watch these sets:

You were able to fix my grip at the camp, and that's made a huge difference - absolutely no wrist or elbow pain. Thank you.

Thanks also to Andy, Jordan, and Wolf for answering my programming and nutrition/recovery questions over the last few months.

    Currently I'm good for 525x5 and 555x1, and I'm confident that I'm 5 weeks out from 500x5x5 if I don't get injured.

    Hopefully 600x1 will fall soon.

    Will.

    Jee-zus...

475 for 5x5. That is no fucking joke, Will. In fact, that kind of strength is hurtful to my feelings. Very nice job. Ladies and gents, next time you do a 5x5, imagine doing it with 475 fucking pounds.

With that in mind, your knees are punching forward at the bottom on a lot of your reps. I suspect that getting your knees out more will solve this and keep you tighter.

    Impressive.

    Thanks, Tom.

I'll have to write 'KNEES OUT' where I fix my gaze. I tend to forget when all I'm thinking about is aggressive hip drive.

Sure thing. Right after that, I'll imagine the color eleven.

Amazing Will, how much did you rest between sets on your 475x5x5?

Damn son, this is some strong squatting. If you're good for 525x5, I very highly doubt you're only good for 555x1. I'd guess 575, at a minimum; but probably closer to 600 than you think.

What do you wear on your knees?

Thanks. Rest is about 20 minutes.

Thanks. I wear thick, very warm knee sleeves. They keep my knees happy.

Ya, I asked because I thought they looked on the thicker side. I squatted with naked knees until about a year ago. Been wearing the old-school 7mm rehbands since last August, like them a lot, but they don't add anything to the lift. Apparently the SBD sleeves are making the rounds with the raw lifters now, since they're legal as sleeves but actually add some weight to your lifts.

I didn't know about the SBD sleeves - thanks. I'll get some for competing. Although mine are thick, they are too loose and short to add weight.

Will, assuming you're UK based, where did you get the rack made?
