    Good evening,
I hope that I don't break any rules of this forum, althoug I tried search topics about Inzer Belt size still I am not sure what size to choose.
At first since this is my first post I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Marcin Majewski from Poland and recently I started to do powerlifting.
    SQ: 175
    BP: 125
    DL: 225

I want to buy a belt, Inzer Lever belt 13mm thick. The problem is in size becaeuse I hesitate about the size. In the attached photos I measeured my old belt buckles and the lenght 82 cm which is about 32'' this is the tightest as I can get, and I had to even do holes on my own. On the inzer webside size L is from 34'' to 38''. I'd like to ask that if somebody has a belt Inzer and just could tell me on what length are the buckles. I'm afraid that if I will take L size it will be too loose and if take M size it will be too short.
I hope that you get what I mean becaeuse it has been long time since I wrote something in english.

Hi Marcin, welcome to the forums. I had this exact dilemma 2 weeks ago, so I have a lot of info to help. Ordered a medium and large Inzer Lever Belt to compare. There certainly isn't much good information out there, so I'll try to be thorough.

In general, Inzer's lever belt has 12 holes, each 1 inch apart, so 11 inches of adjustment range. The loosest setting on the belt (when the lever is OPEN, and screwed in as close to the end as possible) will leave about a 1 inch gap in the belt in the middle instead of overlapping. The lever closes about 3.5 inches, although I didn't measure this, so it may be wrong. But be assured that it is around this number, and will be consistent across belt sizes. Most levers are made to spec, and you can even fit different lever brands on different belts and sizes.

I measured a medium belt to be 36 inches of leather, and a large to be 42 inches. So a medium will have an outer circumference range of about 37 inches down to ~26 inches when the lever is open, and 33.5 to 23.5 inches when the lever is closed, depending on where you put the lever. Similarly, a large will have an unclosed circumference of 32 to 43 inches, with a closed circumference of 28.5 to 39.5 inches.

Now, here comes the interpretation. The leather breaks in after a couple weeks (longer for the 13 mm than the 10 mm), and feels more comfortable. I put mine one inch (hole) tighter so far, and will probably move it one tighter again. My waist measurement is 34 inches when bloated, without squeezing. I own the large, and have the lever on the 4th + 5th hole from the inside, which is 35 inches open / 31.5 closed; I have 3 inches to tighten it. This is equivalent to placing the lever on the 4th and 3rd from the end of the belt on the medium, where I would have 2 holes / inches I could loosen the belt. When open, the belt drapes down on top of my hip; when closed, I can move it manually, but it sticks in place even without pushing against it. Generally, the closed circumference should be less than your waist, and the open circumference about the same as your waist or possibly slightly more.

I ultimately went with the large because I am 5'11 and my ribcage has a circumference of about 30.5 inches, top of my hips slightly larger. I can't really get it any tighter than that, or else I'd just be squeezing bone. It looks like your belt is made of the same material as Valeo belts, which stretch quite a bit during use, so I'm not sure how 32 '' matches your actual waist size. If your waist size is 32'' then Medium is best. To facilitate gains for SS, you will want to get a large if your waist is any bigger than 32'', in my opinion.

Thank you for your respond. It was full of details and it is very helpfull.
I took a photo of measuring my waist and it is about 35'' as you used word bloated without squeezing. I imagine that L size would be good then. I hope that if you have 35'' bloated on 4th - 5th hole than I will have simillar and there are still holes to maneuver up or down.
When I will finally get belt I'll try to remember to put some infromation how does it fit. Maybe it will help somebody.

I have a large Inzer lever belt and my waist has fluctuated from 32" to 36" back and forth. It fits fine for me. FWIW it's great for squats but I can't deadlift in it. Recommend throwing a screwdriver in ur gym bag in case you have to adjust at the gym.
