My Powerlifts came today and I just tried them on. They feel pretty tight width wise. I may have too wide of a foot? The length is fine, there's enough room for my big toe without it being loose or cramped.

So my question is, how are these things supposed to fit? I assume they're supposed to be tight. They aren't painful to wear, just tight.

I need to decide if I should send them back for 1/2 size up, or if this is how they are supposed to feel.

Tight is good. You don't want your foot sliding around inside them. Most people crank the laces/straps- that's why the straps are even there.

Tight is good (so long as it isn't painful).

My toes are also tight width wise. My pinky toe feels squished.

You guys make this too easy . . .

Tight is good though. I bought a 1/2 size small on mine. No pain and only squished? I would roll the dice that they will loosen on the right places. Mine did.

They're designed to be tight left-right. When you're squatting a few plates you don't want your ankle or feet sliding around.

They're also designed to have a bit of play front-back. This is because they're for weightlifting, if you do a split then you need space for your toes to bend. It's not so important for sq/bp/dl, but that's how they're designed.
