    5'6" starting 125lb. Current 148lb.
    dead-280 5x1
    squat-280 5x3
    bench-190 5x3
    pend row-170 5x3
    mil. press- 125 5x3

    hi, ive been following a program i found on bb.com for 2 and half months now. i recently found that the program was a variation of rippetoes, but instead of power cleans it said to do pendlay rows. now i'm going to buy the starting strength book and follow that. will doing power cleans help with strength increases in any of the other lifts? i seem to have gotten stuck on the deadlift and bench press 4 straight days on each.

    Yes, power cleans improve power and force production. That's why I put them in the program. It's explained in the book.
