Enough so you can get five sets of five reps.
I am currently doing advanced novice on the squat and progressing linearly on the rest of the lifts.
Squat current 5RM - 305 lb
DL 5RM- 315
BP 5RM - 200
OHP 5RM - 145
I will have to switch to TM for squat by the end of August. I read up that section from PPSt, but what % of 5RM weight as done on intensity day is squatted on the volume day?
Essentially,
1. if my intensity day 5RM is 400 lb , what will i squat on volume day?
2. What jumps do i make between workouts?
thanks

Nevermind your current (or future) 5RM. Take your last SS workout, back off 10-15% and do 5x5.
I backed off 40lbs first time I tried, and found it hard, because I was dealing with risidual fitigue from killing myself milking the last few lbs out of the SS routine. the week after, I had an especially easy 5x5 squat session, so this week I shortened the difference to 27lbs, its working well for me.
