    Mark,

What would your thoughts be in regards to splitting the Volume Day in the TM into two days? The schedule would look like this:

    Monday: Squat, Bench/Press (Volume)
    Tuesday: Power Clean (Volume)
    Wedesday: Squat, Bench/Press (Recovery)
    Friday: Squat, Bench/Press, Deadlift (Intensity)

The reason for doing this is because I keep running out of time on Mondays. It's easier for my "life" schedule to lift for several brief workouts than one long workout.

    Thanks.

If it's any help, I found splitting my volume day helpful for many reasons.

Most importantly, I have better quality sessions when I split. Doing squats on Monday, and splitting presses and pulls the next day maximizes the effort on all three lifts for me. It also suits my schedule better.

I don't think there's a downside to splitting if you are timing your rest and recovery accordingly.

Where? I searched before I asked and didn't find anything.
