    Default Parallel bars for dips

At my gym, the only place to dip is a set of crappy rubber grips that are spaced too far apart. Trying to do a set of 5 makes my wrists and shoulders hurt. What is the best way to set up a dip station? I was thinking I could put 2 barbells across the safeties on the power rack. If I did try this approach, what would be the best way to keep said bars from rolling back and forth?

    Thanks.

Four pussy pads on the safety pins would probably do the trick. Might even be able to do it with just three.
