    Hi Mark.

Not too long ago, I posted a video of my squat (right here: http://strengthmill.net/forum/showthread.php?t=757) and got your comment about this being a leg press.

I tried to fix it for a while, so here is a new video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dnaYDo9GlA

Do you find it any better?

Thanks again for your help and sorry for wasting your time.

P.S. I posted this in the original thread, but maybe something went wrong there and it wasn't posted.

Can you not see it? You don't have to assume, just look at your knees. Hip drive cannot occur if the knees have slacked the hamstrings so that it can't.

Yep, I can see it. I was just making sure that was the issue you were referring to. Thanks for the answer. I guess I've got work to do.

What you have to do is start your next squat workout with the promise to yourself that every rep of every set will have your knees shoved out to the sides, your ass shoved back as you approach the bottom, and your back at an angle that enables this to occur. Every rep of every set, even if it costs you 10% of work set weight and takes you twice as many sets to get it right.

Thanks Mark. That's what I was planning to try.

I really appreciate your help and hope I can visit your Basic Barbell Certification one day. I would have done it already if I didn't live in another continent

You live off-continent? This must mean you're a socialist. Do you have beer? You must share your beer, or we will have it re-distributed.

I am not a socialist, but if your Barbell Certification will ever take place here, I will supply all the beer you can drink

I somehow missed or forgot about the "curling your toes up (skyward)" trick in the squatting chapter. I haven't lifted this week because I have been sick but have been practicing my form with my body weight at every opportunity and this trick has seemed to help.
