I'm 59 and also using one of the HLM templates in BBRx as a guide (Example 24-16: HLM Basic Cycling Routine, to be exact). I'm not doing power cleans or snatches, and I don't want to squat and deadlift heavy on the same day, so my heavy day is heavy squats, heavy bench, LTE, then light day is light squat, press, deadlift, while medium day is medium squat, medium bench, chins.
I hate volume squats so my heavy day is 3 sets of 5, light is 1 set of 5 at 10% reduction and medium is 2 sets of 5 at 5% reduction. I always take two days off between each workout. Working well for me, with my squats now in the upper mid-300's and deadlifts in upper-mid 400's.
