Need Resources!
Got to write a paper as part of my college studies. It's going to be titled:
Examining the motivations that gym-going adults have for engaging in, or avoiding strength training.
I'm looking for journal entries, books, anything at all I can use as a resource and provide as a credible reference at the end of it all. Right now I've got a couple of Rip's and Bill Starr's articles for covering strength training as it pertains to developing... well... strength! I've got some good books by the likes of Zatsiorsky, etc.
The main stuff I'm struggling to find is resources based around stuff like Crossfit and modern bodybuilding trends. Specifically, I'm looking for things like examining what those who engage in trends such as Crossfit for example, hope to achieve that they cannot achieve in non-resistance training, or any other avenues of strength training. I'm also keen to find resources that details training for aesthetics that isn't implemented through bodybuilding or any kind of resistance training.
