I am well aware those are low quality barbells , but a real barbell is very expensive in my country because of shipping. Olympic barbells cost about 1000 bucks.
I would like to ask you if any of these barbells could hold 400pounds + -

It looks like the large bar doesn't have a center knurl which may or may not be a problem depending on how well you can get a bar to rest on your back.

Ive squatted 320, pulled 350+, and power cleaned 185+ on a piece of junk 38lbs olympic bar with no problems so I'd assume you'd be safe using those bars.

Maybe you can get them shipped from the UK.

How much is it going to cost ?
My father won't be too keen on spending more than 300pounds for a bar + plates

1" standard bars (like pictured) can hold much more weight than you might assume. I know someone who uses a cheap 1" spinlock bar for zercher lifts and is already at 210kg. which is about 500lb.

Whether you can find enough plates, and importantly fit them onto the bar - is another matter!

Steel generally bends, not snaps. So you should be reasonably safe even if the bar is close to failure.

Are you from Morocco ? Importing will be way over your budget and that set on the picture is not worth the money, it has only 100 kg in plates. If I was you I'd assemble a home gym from pieces, you can get the rack welded and look for weights and bars in sport stores, it took me about 2 years to get everything I needed.

Are you in Mainland Europe? If so, you could have a look at www.strengthshop.de I ordered all of my stuff from the UK site. They've got an oly bar for €99. If your budget for both a bar and plates is just £300 then you'll have to get lucky on second hand deals and clearance sales.

    Hi,

This are standard barbells for 30mm plates. Normal capacity for this kind a barbell is 200kg.But not sure if this is for every 30mm barbells. The other question that you should find out is how much plates can you load. These barbells are probably 150,160 or 185 mm. With 10 kg plates there is probably to less space to load to 190 kg.Check if you can find 20kg plates with 30/31mm holes. Then you problably can load to 190kg.
It will be fine for the slow lifts. For cleans not becaus they have no rotating sleeves.
Also you have to make some kind of spotters for benching to make it saver. Think about sawhorses or something like that.

That set on the picture is sold in morocco.

Maybe you should just use a length of scaffold tube, basically making every lift an axle/fat bar lift. Olympic plates fit pretty much perfect on scaffolding tubes. Unorthodox but fine I reckon. LBBS might be akward but you can adapt.

Where were you planning to get the plates from anyway?
