My wife and I always try to help our young kids pick out gift ideas for one another for the holidays. We keep the price range modest, $20 to $50. I'm curious for feedback on what you guys would recommend (related to lifting of course). Note: I don't have the room for a home gym and I work out in a black iron gym in Chicago. Thoughts..i'm making a full list for others to benefit from.

    1) Any of the books (have them all, even new one on pre order)
    2) wrist wraps (have them)
    3) blender bottles (have a bunch)
    4) V4 shirt (with the grip on the back...great for globo gyms with shitty/slippery freshly washed benches)
    5) Aasgaard shirts
    6) a nice pair of collars (OSO? are these worth it?)
    7) gym bag (have one)
    8) chalk bag
    9) ipad/ipone tripod/mount for filming form checks (what do people use here?)
    10) iphone holder for listening to music (what do people use here?)
    11) micro plates (have them)

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

I want the new GoPro for filming sessions, but am also interested in hearing what tripod people use for their iPhones.

    2) wrist wraps (have them) - Good sales right now on elite fts
    8) chalk bag - or use lock & lock brand tupperware.

I really like my Dead Wedge, I also got some of these Accessory Bags | Topo Designs - Accessory Bags Made in USA | Topo Designs to hold the lock and lock tupperware to protect it when in my backpack and then another one to hold all my other stuff (advil, bandaids, wrist straps, extra shoelaces, 3" nails to keep safety pins secure, gum) its so much better than rifling through a pouch attached to the side of a bag.

Mini "travel" gym bag with only room for the absolute essentials (belt wrapped around shoes)?

That's a great idea. I travel all the time and just put my belt(s)/shoes in my suit case. But then end up dragging everything into the gym by hand and dumping all my shit at the end of the squat rack in the globo gym...which makes me nervous as hell..as I don't trust people there the way I do in my local gym. Can't even run to the can without having to drag all my shit with me.
