    Hey
I have injured my left hip (tronchanteric bursitis I think) and I need to roll my IT band.
The problem is that I don't have an idea where to find a shop (I live in a third world country) that sells one and I have no credit card (too young).
What can I use to roll my IT band ? maybe a toilet paper roll ?

Wouldn't you just crush the toilet paper roll if you tried to use it like a foam roller? Try PVC pipe.

I might try to find one.
I have a broomstick however. Can I directly use it , or shove it in the paper roll so I won't crush it ??

A broomstick is good for the itb. You might break the stick but it will work.

    just tried it it's great.
Before when I did a bodyweight squat it used to slightly hurt at the very bottom.
    now it doesn't.
How much should I roll my itb ? is it just relieving or curative ?

    Okay thanks.
Can I get some information about "tronchanteric bursitis" by the way ? Is there anybody who has experienced it over here ? does it just go away with time or what.
    It sucks I can't squat.

Every day. Unless my wife does some walking on me. I like to go all out.
