So i've recently just switched to smolov JR for squats and I'm on my 2nd week. Recently i've been getting numbness in my left thumb and index finger after my sets and for a prolonged period of time after my workout ( 1-3hours ). Any one had this happen to yourself before?

History of spinal issues. Sometimes (may not apply to you) hand numbness can indicate nerve impingement in the cervical region. It usually is a temporary thing in my experience as well, but YMMV. I would keep an "eye" on it and get it checked if it continues to bother you for long (you decide how long) are worsens.

This sounds more like something related to the median nerve, not a cervical thing. It doesn't hurt to go to a neurologist.

I r not a doctor. I can only report what my neurologist said on seeing my MRI about 5 years ago. But some quick research indicates it could be that too.

Neither r me (just messing with you..haha). It is possible and now I'm too lazy to check if this is likely or not.
