Does your gym allow you to carry your gym bag around with you as you train?

If you are not allowed to, what type of gym do you train at - smaller private gym or commercial?

    Thanks!

I think it's technically not allowed...but I always keep it in a place that's out of everyone's way, so no one's ever said anything to me about it.

My bag with all the junk in it stays behind the squat rack. You know, that place where no one ever visits. So that's that, I suppose.

Cubbies and shelves right behind the power racks. My stuff stays there. University gym.

My gym now only has a few members, so they really don't care at all. When I first started lifting and I was still at the YMCA, they started giving me crap about it after a while. We came to the agreement that I could bring my bag into the gym area, but that I had to put it by the wall. That was good enough for me. I didn't want to take multiple trips back to the locker room to get my stuff.

No one cares at my gym.

I feel like the bag is better for everyone than the weird spread of notebook, belt, chalk, shoes, pen, phone (for vids), etc. that I'd have without it.

No one cares at my gym either.

Some guy brought his dog in once. No one said anything.

This just happened the other day at my gym. This chick brought her lab in. I played with him a little between sets. He was a good boy. A verygoodboy.

They have cubbyholes by the racks. If I were on a platform, it wouldn't be a problem to put it on the platform with me because, you know, it's a platform. But if I were at the dumbbell racks or something, it's too high traffic to have a bag with me.
