If I'm not mistaken we discussed this briefly at the 2014 SSCA?
I guess if the Boyle/Cook crowd gets their way, we'll have to change the 5 lift format of the seminar to include more Wobble Board Squats.

Almost makes you want to be an anarchist.
What would an anarchist advocate in this situation?
As you said, get ready to deal with it - yourself and the people around you. On top of that, teach people that intervention by the state as we know it is morally wrong. Libertarian-type individuals should disregard fallacious appeals to consequences when arguing with statists, too, to counter the inevitable "but who will build the roads/feed poor people/make sure personal trainers are of 'x' quality" ignorance. The existence of the state is moral problem, period, and has no business anywhere much less in areas concerning the way people train/exercise/whatever.
You're just not good at answering questions that have a concrete answer. The State of Texas proposes a State Board of Exercise Prescription Examiners. What would you do? I already know what you're going to type.
