    Default OHP Question

If aesthetics are the goal...Is it reasonable to not "train" ohp after the novice phase? and just focus more on flat/incline bench blocks, with doing seated DB work as a vertical press... It's truly amazing how hard it is to build delts naturally for guys who aren't genetically pre disposed. I have seen many people increase their OHP quite a bit and not get much delt growth.. Just wondering if there's a different route

So would just doing the one vertical push as more of an "exercise" that does target side delts more be a better idea?...And then using flat/incline blocks as your main strength driver

    Thanks!!

For physique, I'd just make sure you are doing a strict version of the standing press and hitting it with plenty of volume. Seated DB Press with elbows flared wider is also a good idea as there will be much more emphasis on the side delt. You can do both, either in the same session or split into 2 sessions across the week
