Odd bench press problem
I don't have a video of my bench press currently, but several people have pointed out that when I am doing my work sets, the last couple of inches of descent before touching down on my chest seem to be in freefall.
The bar doesn't get stuck on my chest; I can drive it back up just fine, but for that 2-3 inches I feel like I lose control of the descent completely. Is this a common problem?

It likely means that you're bouncing off your chest, which is improper. We teach to "touch the shirt, not the chest," which is impossible if you're not tight in the last few inches. But I'd have to see a video to know for sure.
