    Default Muscle soreness on GGW

    Hi,
So I have just this week got started with GGW. When I plugged in my percentages, the early stages 60/70% range looked abit light so I decided to do everything beltless until the weight ramps up in the next few weeks. Day 2, week 1 yesterday, Light squat 2x6 I paused these for 2ct. Coming off LP, I never used this variation so it was great to do some new stuff. Also Bench, 4x6. Again, off the back of LP so this was a new rep range and slightly more volume. Today, I am sore in the quads and glutes from Squats, and chest and tri's from the Bench. Is this slight soreness normal given the new variation and rep ranges used, given that the squat was light day and bench 70% of 1RM?

    Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

By the way, the program set up looks great moving forward.

I have generally experienced some soreness with changes to a program, particularly those that represent an increase in volume. Wouldn't sweat it, it probably won't last.

Pretty big per session volume increase + paused reps.....some slight soreness is not an issue. You’ll be fine
