Hello, thank you for hosting this board.

About six weeks ago I was Pressing for the first time, my form was... “developing” to say the least. As I was racking the bar, the left slot on the rack fell off - the previous user had moved it without securing it to the rack and I failed to check it - this caused the weight of the bar to awkwardly fall on my wrist.

Afterwards, it was clearly inflamed and irritated. I can’t Press, although can manage to Bench. I was advised to do what are essentially forearm curls by my physician, but my ROM was fine, it’s just the pain especially when trying to Press.

I wear a brace when I don’t workout throughout the day to “immobilize” it and have been doing that for a few days. No improvement yet. Any advice on rehab?

    Thanks,

    - DM

Get checked for a scaphoid fracture. This is not a tendonitis presentation.
