    Default GGW Vacation Interruption

    Hi Andy,


    31 Male 240 5'11


    On my second run of GGW, currently in week 9. Week 11 I'm going on vacation for a week, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to proceed.

    I'm thinking perhaps instead of doing week 10's workout next week, instead skip right to week 11 (heavy singles/doubles). That would put the light week while I'm on vacation instead of the heavy week, and it would only be 2 short workout days.


    The other option stay the course, and just don't workout while on vacation and hope with the added rest I'll be able to pick up where I left off on week 11.


    For reference, yesterdays 4x4 workout, heavy squat I got 440x4-4-3, 415x4. medium press 195, and medium deadlift 405

    Any other suggestions?

    Probably just skip ahead and do what you can. I usually regress when on vacation for a week (don't workout, don't eat right, booze, etc) so I wouldn't plan on a bunch of new PRs the week after. That's just me though.
