    Default squat low bar high bar

    just to introduce myself I started Starting Strength in late march to get better for basketball and more explosive/strong. Squats is my favourite excercise mainly because it is the foundation of gaining a good vertical jump.

    here is my squat form I recorded a few days ago at 200lbs. My previous max was 205 before and am ITCHING to get it to 250lbs by the end of september.

    im currently doing a high bar squat but have been told to switch to low bar because it works post chain better which is more ideal for a good VJ. Now I tried this early on the program but it just wouldnt stay in place, slide out, slip, etc etc. so I gave up on it

    now onto the question can you critique my form currently and whether or not I should take the time to re-learn the low bar squat.

    It would behoove you to learn a correct low-bar squat, for the reasons you seem to already understand.
