How many of you guys use the airdyne? What kind of workouts do you use? I do 1/2 mile intervals and rest until HR is less than 120 for about 5-8 intervals twice a week. Any other ideas?

I use the AirDyne almost daily. Usually warm up on it and spend 10mins once or twice a day on my rest days just to get some blood moving to help recovery. For conditioning I'll do 30 seconds around 85-90%, 30 seconds at 50% for 10mins. Also the 10min calorie test. My best so far is 231cal.

I warm up on it as well and use it after squat and deadlift days. I'm gonna try that 10 min calorie test. Sounds fun.

Make sure to report back how fun it is haha. It usually leaves people laying on the floor.

I use it for my Wingate sprints. It's an amazing tool; so good, in fact I sold my C2 and rarely use my prowler anymore.

What are wingate sprints? 30 seconds sprints? How long do you rest for?

That's how I ended up with an elliptical the Mrs doesn't use allent.

@ Tigre: it's 20 seconds of sprint, with 1:40 of active recovery. I usually do 7-9 rounds, whatever is programmed. Do 5 minute warm-up and a 10 minute cooldown.

So for the active recovery just jump rope or hit the heavy bag or something. I'm definitely gonna try that. I might hit the max calorie burn in 10 minutes today if I have time. Gonna be tough.
