Such a good article. I have known way too many people who, when injured, simply avoid certain movements altogether instead of asking "What load and what ROM can I train with and then work up from there."
I've had training partners look at me like I'm crazy for asking if they can deadlift 135 from blocks without pain, as a starting point. They'd rather not deadlift at all and do something silly like lat pulls instead.
