Third week of the program, squat at 185 lbs

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?edit=vd&v=yQbu91qIiIY

    Some notes:
    - felt pain in my lower back and left arm when doing it
    - feel really tired on squats, sometimes taking 8-10 minute rest
    - want to know if anything looks bad and see if pain/tiredness is due to a form issue or I am just not used to soreness and just need to man up

    Thank you for your time.

Tell me about your progress. Where did you start? Where are you now? Bodyweight and weight on the bar.

    I started at 125 x 5 x 3, am at 185 x 5 x 3 in the video. I started with a bodyweight of 165 and am now at 174. This is my third week. I am about 5'11" if that matters.

Your squats look ok. You could stand to go about 1" deeper. Really focus on aggressive hip drive. You're slowing down quite a bit at the bottom. Hit it and drive up hard!

I'm more concerned with your recovery. If you're feeling beat up and having to take 10 minute rests this early in the game, it indicate you are screwing up outside the gym. What are you eating? How's your sleep? Anything else going on?
