    Default Deadlift Form Check

    Hi everybody,

I'm concerned regarding my lower back rounding while doing deadlifts. I am not flexible at all, and I guess that might be playing a role. I do not "feel" it wrong, though. Should I have more warm up sets? Any additional cues I should be paying attention?

    This is the video:

    27 y.o.; 6'2'' height; 180 bodyweight
    Squat: 275 x 5 x 3
    Press: 95 x 5 x 3
    Bench press: 145 x 5 x 3
    Deadlift: 245 x 5 x 3

Restarted SS program in August after almost a year of no training.

You are right to be worried: you never set your lower back. It starts rounded, stays that way. Hips rise early too. Have you ready the book? At least read about pulls in the Coaches Q&A sticky.
