    Hi Guys,

Been stuck circa 150kgs for a while and recently purchased a 3 inch belt.

Any constructive criticism would be very much appreciated.

Please and thank you in advance!

I can't see the bar relative to your stance from this angle. With that important detail aside, these look good except for the lockout. Just stand up at the top. Don't do that exaggerated lean back.

thinking of buying a 3 inch belt, how would you rate it compared to no belt?

    Hi,

    Better angle - http://youtu.be/U9kPLNZpi74

failed rep 5; not entirely sure why... anything you could point out would be awesome

I'm still going past lockout, i cant seem to feel it on my work set - any tips for not overdoing it?

Hmm. Not sure why you failed either. Quitting that error at the top end is as simple as thinking 'just stand up.' You may need someone to cue you live at first, especially if your present method feels correct. I'd probably drill this part of the lift during your warm up sets so that you begin to learn where the end of the lift is. Eventually standing up straight at the top will feel like the right thing.

    Thanks I'll do that.

possibly just one of those days where my mind is 100% in every rep; just felt weird to run out of gas cause 1-4 felt good.

hows my set up? does the camera angle give you what you need to comment?

Definitely, setup looks good. Before rep 4, you remembered to roll the bar back to mid foot before initiating the pull, because it had gotten a little bit out in front of you. Good catch. Do this any time the bar gets forward like that.

Before I saw your post about this, my thought was that he had actually got his body out of position and rolled the bar into a poor position. I watched the video several times, and it appears this way.

He is moving back a little bit on the end reps. His feet never move, but hold a pencil up to the screen where the weights are on the first few reps (note position on the mat on the right of the screen) and note their position. The first 3 are all in the same place. One rep 4 he pulls it back a tiny bit and struggles more than on reps 1 - 3. On the failed rep he pulls it back even more and fails.
