Default Bench for long arms guys

I noticed that I have a very hard time getting the bar to my chest when benching. I also noticed my arms are pretty long for my height. I have a 6' arm span and I am only 5'9".

I have used lighter weight and that still does not fix the problem. Even with the bar I have a hard time touching my chest. Feels like I am really stretching it out.

When I do get the bar to my chest I can feel it in my shoulders. Would it be adequate to get my humerous parallel to the ground? (Right now they are nearly perpendicular to the ground.) This would leave about 1-2 inches above my chest.

And? Are you getting injured or just feeling a stretch?

Not really, no. How much weight are you using? How wide is your grip? Where is the bar touching when you touch your chest? Post a form video.
