    Default A Lurker Embarks on a journey of strength

    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    • starting strength seminar february 2025
    • starting strength seminar april 2025
    Decided to log progress here. I guess I won't quite be doing Starting Strength and I'm obviously not an intermediate or a competitive lifter so this is the place to log. Should be at least one session logged daily. Keep me honest boys.
    Starting Bodyweight: 172lbs
    Starting Lifts: Will post as I find them out

    I checked my summer schedule and luckily I'll have 39 uninterrupted Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I tried a barbell for the first time this past Friday though so I guess I already have one session under my belt. Goal of the Day: Add 5lbs to all of my lifts from Friday

    True Session 1:
    AM Weight-169.4lbs
    Food before workout- Very little today, probably not great for improving workout performance
    Pre-Workout- OJ/Water Mix
    Music- Drake, AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival
    Squat- 185x5
    Bench-95x5
    Deadlift- Could not do because of thumb injury
    Back Extensions- 3x15
