    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    • starting strength seminar february 2025
    • starting strength seminar april 2025
    Is 6 pounds more then expected in 5 weeks?

    210 oct 18th, 216 dec 5th.
    Started benching Nov 1st 105 3x5, dec 5 bench is 240 3x5.
    Goal is 270x3 sets of 5 probably weighing the same 216. No supplements.

    These pro's on the site have a instinct for when someone is gaining weight too fast. To fast to be healthy weight gain.

    I dunno. Depends on age, height and build. 65 years old? Yeah, ease off a bit. 25? Whatever, you'll be fine. Are you 4'11"? Maybe slow down. 6'11"? GOMAD, motherfucker!

    It's all in the details. And you gave us few.

    6lbs in 5 weeks is fine but YNDTFP. Rip proscribes anything less than 3lbs a week IIRC
