Are taped thumbs allowed at the Fall Classic?

I see in the rules you have to display any bandages on the hands to the judges, so it sounds permitted. But I can also see it being considered a grip aid so...

I'm not even planning on it, but I'm a recent hook grip enthusiast, and Rip recently recommended tape, so of course I want to worry over every useless advanced training detail that'll have zero effect on my weak little deadlifts.

It was fine until you mentioned that they were a grip aid!

Tom will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think tape on the thumbs is a problem at all.
