I've read all about its production, and now I'm curious about its consumption. What physical processes deplete testosterone? And if one wished to conserve it, what would he do, or stop doing?

    Yep, I love simple explanations!
I took this from among the hieroglyphics: The metabolisme of testosterone and dihydrotestosterone takes place for 90% in the liver.
Don't know what to do with the information though.

What led you to conclude that there is anything you can do with the information?

Drink a lot so the liver is too distracted to use up your testosterone?

FYI this is why oral anabolics that body-builders take are dangerous, and that IM injection is more preferred so that you avoid this 'first pass' effect.

Curiosity. Led me to inquire, not conclude. What led you to use the word "conclude"?

    The statement:

seemed to me to imply that there must be something to do with the information. I'm just curious as to the genesis of the inquiry.

Read it as "there MAY be something to do with the information"
A person concerned about maintaining testosterone level would want to know why their body stopped supplying enough, if it could be forced to supply more, how to replace it if it can't make more, and how to slow its consumption, if possible. Make sense now?
