What are you planning on doing with them? I'm generally not a fan of them.

Unless you have lots of 5s and 10s, they are cumbersome and kind of annoying to use.
They would mostly be used for rows, perhaps some presses, no real quick movements. I have the plates already, space is kind of at a premium in my home gym so a full set isn't practical. I'm just getting tired of waiting for another pair of adjustable DBs to pop up used on CL for a decent price.

If you start loading them with 25s, the movements get awkward and the ROM gets shortened.
just get some standard dumb bell handles like this:
Much more usable. Get standard exercise plates from a yard sale/craigs list. You can get these handles in 18" lengths, enough to get serious weight on them.
I have 3 pairs that I made myself. A fairly thick handle, 1 1/4" and 22" long. I can't say enough good about them. But then, I have LOTS of 2 1/2, 5 and 10lb plates. They are especially handy when benching and needing to microload a bit, I'll just add a 2.5lb on one end and then go up the other 2.5lb the next week. Pretty handy really other than when they get very heavy it is much tougher to get into place with.
Two thumbs up from me.
I think the olympic dumbbell handles are fine. I'm not in love with mine, but they get the job done. I bought some off amazon, normally I would be worried about quality, but I'm not sure a really expensive pair would be really that much better.
I really only do rows and some flat presses with them and they work fine.
