Fuck, my knee slide is back:

And yes, these are a tad high.

In the past, the slide was more of a dart at the bottom, which resulted, for me, sore quads at the distal (insertion) ends. I fixed it with TUBOW, and even eventually got a glowing review from Tom C.

Now, I'm sore in the hips. Have any of you noticed a difference in the "interesting kind of tendonitis" (Figure 2-48) based on the type (slow and steady vs. dart) of slide?

Fucking annoying. Back to the TUBOW.

    Thanks for looking.

I actually don't think it's as bad as you say...however, your knees are never really STABLE. TUBOW should help, but I think what you really need to do is shove them OUT on the way down, and lean over a little more.

You're too vertical in the descent, you've got to bend over and squat. Your knees will come forward a little more than they are now, your hips will go back a little more than they are now, tension will be maintained and your knees won't do what they are doing now.

    These are better:

But I've been here before http://startingstrength.com/resource...ad.php?t=50539 so I'll stop bothering you.

You guys must get hella tired of the constant "knees out hard, lean over" cues. But goddamned if it doesn't work.

    Thanks again!

Definitely better, feet might be a hair wide but tough to tell without standing there next to you.

Even better. No TUBOW. Hip soreness abating. 3rd set at 265 today:

I have fixed the knee slide thing so many times and it's always: knees out, ass back and down, and lean over.

Mac, I narrowed my stance a tad, too.

    Thanks again!
