Squatting for a fat guy
Mark,
I'm about to start a lifting program as part of a comprehensive plan to get my weight under control and reshape my body. My question is this:
When I try to do squats, my gut gets in the way of proper form. I have to hunch over and round my back, which is obviously a big no-no. My only other option is keep my back more or less vertical, which is also not proper. My stance is fairly wide, so I don't think I can get much more out of that. Any advice?

Get your knees out of the way by shoving them out. This is the way everybody gets depth, not just you.
