I'm looking to move to a 2 day rotation with Squats/Bench and Press/Deadlifts as the main exercises with chins and conditioning happening on the following days.
I'm planning on starting with 8s and running out the rep ranges until I reach singles. 8s to 5s to 3s to 2s to 1s.
I have two questions:
1. What would your recommended number of sets be starting with 8s? I'm planning on using something like 3x5, 3x3, 3x2 and 5x1. Would 3x8 be sufficient or should I deload a bit and start with 4 or 5 sets? I'm not opposed to using drop sets after the main work either.
2. When I move from one rep range to the next should I move every lift over or keep everything separate and run each lift out individually?
