Would really appreciate any input. I'm going to the gym tomorrow and I'd like to try improve on things. Sorry for bumping only after a day, just don't want to repeat same mistakes. Thanks!
Hi,
Been trying to fix my hip drive, to remove 'squishiness', and to fix my lower back position when I'm standing. Unfortunately, squat shoes and a belt are not possibilities for me until the end of summer (some suggested that I get them) but I'm using my outdoor shoes which a flatter base than my running shoes and it is a bit more comfortable. I find that I have a bit of discomfort in my lower back after squat, is this normal?
Thanks for the help.

It does seem like you're driving harder with the flat shoes. But can you tighten up/straighten up a bit when you're standing? You're all over the place. Maybe that wiggling is contributing to your back discomfort.
