Have you taken 12 motrin a day for 14 days? Try that first
Let's get right to the issue. August 2013 I was using a slide hammer to drive sediment cores. Upon hitting a hard clay layer I drove the hammer with excessive force a few times and it put a lot of pressure on my wrists which has resulted in a persistent inflammation that is still here today.
Activities that cause it to flare are hockey, lifting, and yard work. Once inflamed it will hurt to shake hands, reach into my pocket or type.
As of typing this now I haven't played hockey or lifted in 7 days and it currently doesn't display any symptoms but if hockey or lifting is reinstituted it will slowly creep back in.
My question is should I take 1 month off and wrap each night with ACE bandages?
Should I not take time off and wrap each night with ACE bandages?
Will stretches of some sort help? Anyone have stretching protocol?
Thank you all for your time and input.

Also, see if there are any simple daily activities (typing, texting, driving) that aggravate it, and find a work around
I don't think stretches are going to help. The original problem is not tight muscles.
Anyway, do you wear wraps when lifting?
I've periodically tweaked my wrist, and although it's seen as the ultimate bro lift, I think that some higher-rep, low weight wrist curls help. http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...WristCurl.html
