I’m putting together a home gym, and I got ahold of a Texas Squat Bar. Am I going to run into trouble first with pressing or deadlifting with this bar? Is there a bar that would be good for both pressing and deadlifting?

...yeah, you have to open a new tab with that little teeny tiny drawing they provide on the web page to be able to see it. They don't type out the specs. anywhere else.

    It's 32mm.

That's going to be hard to grip for deadlifts.
If you snatch with a wider grip, and got short fingers, that is going to be difficult as well.

OP, are you chosing that bar because that's all that's available (in stock) right now?

....with the Thing that's going on?

I need an 8ft bar to squat. I have to grip outside the hooks.

I’m also training outside in humid Miami, so I’m looking for a bar that has rust protection.
