    Coach Rip,

I am a 31 year old male, around 189 lbs BW and recently came back to power-cleaning as i am running the TM again.

How bad is "normal" on the PC? I can DL 450x3 (no bouncing shit-lifts), however even a 165 PC is incredibly hard for me. Typically i can go up to 135 without any problems, anything over that and it becomes almost impossible. The most frustrating thing is that i could PC 135 when my DL was around 300lbs, so even though that has increased, the PC has not.

The thing i hate most is that crossfitters can out PC me when they can't properly deadlift or squat for their life anything above 200lbs (if lucky)... I understand that the PC is related to specific athletic ability/muscle fibers, however i wonder how bad can one be at the PC before deciding to just not do it any more in favour of other things.

(I DO NOT intend to practice any kind of sport that requires transforming strength into power, iam much happier knowing i can move heavy things around.)

Post a video. The problem is almost certainly your technique.

Will do a couple as warmup for DLs on Friday and post it here. Thanks Coach Rip.

I suffer from the shit PC syndrome as well. Maybe we can form a support group.
