Is it your bar?
I am going to put the plates back on the next time I work out anyways; so why do I need to take them off the bar at the end of my workout? It will save some time if I leave them on.
Or does leaving the plates on the bar somehow deform the bar over time?
Is it your bar?
Yes it is.
Yeah, I might as well take them off.
Still looking for a way to save some money instead of getting a plate stand. I have seen some pegs sold, they attach to the side of the power rack and the plates can be stored there, and it also makes the rack more stable due to the heavier weight. Or I could leave them on the floor, they won't be going anywhere anyways.
Let me get this correct. You make an investment in equipment that should last you a lifetime. Even steel plates are not cheap and you are worried about a c note or so to properly store your plates? How do you feed yourself?
Why do you need a plate stand? Just stack them on the floor.
