This is my 69 year old mother lifting 105 pounds. She has arthritic knees so they never lock out solid. We just work around that. I can see she let her back round on the 3rd rep. Do you see any other form errors?

P.S. I put those skinny slotted mats down so the bar doesn't roll away. It also works great as an indicator as to whether or not you put the bar back down in it's starting position.

    Thank you. :^)

    This is awesome!

I'd say to, yes, get her to squeeze up better each rep - this will get more important as the weight gets heavier. The other issue that I see is that she's standing up a little early, as shown by the bar moving around her knees a bit. Encourage her to stay over the bar a little longer - another way we explain this is to tell the trainee that the very first motion in the DL is to push the floor away with the feet.

    You get good son points.

She can pull a lot more Look how easily she puts the bar back down. Not dropping it at all

    Kanahan,

No doubt you are correct. Once I convince her mind, the body will follow. Slow is the rule with this demographic.
