Dear Coach Rippertoe
Thanks 4 ur book.but i still have some questions
1. Looking at ur book I learned how 2 squat on the gym machine but not as low as in ur book. I heard that going that low is asking for trouble with you’re knees ankles and neck. why do u tell people to do this?
2. My buddy told me that u trained the guys on jersey shore, is it true? Can u tell me what workouts Ronnie used to get so swole?
3. My other buddy said that he had a 1000 pound bench before he got injured. If I use you’re book, can I do this before the end of the year? Right now my max bench is about 70 pounds for 15 reps.
4. I plan to enter a BB contest soon. Can you tell me some posing routines? There is a site now u can use 2 email videos. If u google for youtube then email you’re video to them they will put it on there internet for free. Thanks.
5. Did you read ‘the new rules of lifting’? its good and maybe you could ask them to help you with the second part of your book?
Thanks again, you’re book is ok, I just think there could be some things you could add to part 2 of the book. Not a criticism but could you add chapters about core work, and bodypart splits for advanced lifters like me?
Maybe this information will help you give me advice on getting my bench up. I looked at the pictures in your book but found them to be not very useful for somebody like me who has been benching for a while. Thanks in advance!
I am 17 years old
Weigh 150 pounds
High 6 foot tall
DB curl 50 pounds for 10 reps
Leg press 300 pounds for 10
Bench 1 RM 110 pounds for 5 reps
I can show you some form videos if you want to see them?
BTW, are you on twitter or facebook so we can chat and share workouts etc?
Peace
Vinny
yawn.
Obvious troll is obvious and bad grammar and spelling is bad.
/thread, nothing here to see folks.
Complete lack of subtlety, humour and intelligence.
Can we see the form videos? In these, you'll have to tell us what your username is on SS.com and that you're training to be on the next season of Jersey Shore. Post this on youtube. For more subscriptions, get a fake tan and wear a shirt with the sleeves cut off. I think you will be successful if you follow my advice. I'm glad you found this forum as the members here are very helpful. I'm sure other people have words of advice too, as I'm sure I haven't covered everything.
Otherwise, as the saying goes, all else is BULLSHIT!
