    Default Row vs. Chinups

    Mark,
Im 6' 242. Have been on Texas Method for about a month from SS. I love to do rows and chinups but am so gassed by end of workout I cant get any volume of chinups in. I usually do 3x5 @170 for rows and/or 3x2 chinups. Does one exercise put on more muscle then the other.
    Thanks,
    Garry

Well, you'll have to admit that chinups are harder to cheat, what with the fact that everybody in the gym can see you not getting your chin over the bar and that this is a rather easily verified and understood criterion for a complete rep. And since rows can be done pretty much any fucking way you want to do them and still be considered rows, my default would always be towards the chinups/pullups. Particularly if you can only do 2 of them at a time.
