    Default Use of Gainzz Products

I am planning on incorporating GainZz products into my diet and I am curious what I can drop. I eat three meals per day spaced about 5-6 hours apart. My macros are set by my SSOC coach.

    1) Protein: am I correct in assuming that I use 1 scoop og Gainzz whey isolate per meal and meet my remaining protein needs with my food and plain whey products?

    2) I currently take 5 grams of Creatine Monohydrate daily as well as 5 grams pre and post workout. I also consume 10 grams of BCAAs pre and post workout. If I use Gains Rx what of this would it replace?

    Thanks

    Hey David,

I would not recommend taking whey with meals containing other protein (in significant quantities). I would just take whey before bed in this instance to increase your total protein intake.

I would also not take 15g creatine per day, but rather just 5g (e.g. the gainzZz rx pre and post workout). No need to take any additional creatine.

So I would go from this:

    Monday Tuesday Wednesday
    Training Day
    Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
    Training Day
    BCAAs 10g Pre
    10g Post
    10g Pre
    10g Post
Creatine Monohydrate 5g AM 5g AM 5g AM
    5g Pre
    5g Post
    5g AM 5g AM 5g AM 5g AM
    5g Pre
    5g Post

    to this:

    Monday Tuesday Wednesday
    Training Day
    Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
    Training Day
    GainZz Rx 1 scoop Pre
    1 scoop Post
    1 scoop Pre
    1 scoop Post
    Creatine Monohydrate 5g AM 5g AM 5g AM 5g AM 5g AM

Getting 260 grams of protein with only 20 grams from whey will be a challenge.

Can you elaborate on why that is?

No need to take whey when there is already a bunch of protein in a meal. If it's just to hit macros, sure that's fine, but otherwise I'd recommend more spread out protein boluses or lowering protein intake if needed.

That seems rather high unless you weigh a lot.

Understood. I don't think it's harmful and it'll probably help.
