Barbell curl form question
I have read the book's section and there's something I don't understand regarding elbows positioning. Are elbows supposed to be against the ribs with the forearm supinated even in the eccentric part?
It says "Elbows stay against the ribs the whole way up" what about the eccentric part? Keeping them against my ribs with the forearm supinated greatly reduces my range of motion because it doesn't allow my bicep to stretch and elbow to extend.

This is not too terribly crucial, but I think what Rip means is you keep your elbows tight to your torso the whole time. Since there is shoulder flexion and extension involved in this version of the curl, your elbows won't necessarily be up against the exact same place on your rib cage the whole time. But even at the bottom, they will be "hugging" your torso and against your rib cage.
