    Hell, the need to gain weight applies to some of us in our 50's, not just for young novies. The battle against aging requires muscle mass to fight frailty and what Sully has called the Sick Aging Phenome.

    But Coach, were the before/ after pics from you or did someone at PJ Media past them in? I ask because the guy deadlifting, holy smokes. He must have put on 75 pounds of muscle. That young man learned to train, eat, and sleep properly. Hopefully he is one of ours.

    You can add these to your file, Rip.

    The difference in these two photos is about 50 pounds worth of bodyweight (145# > 195#) and progress from a 275# (December, 2014 seminar in Wichita Falls) to 501# Squat (March, 2016).. so about 15 months.

    The guy at the top of the deadlift is my trainee, Jeremy. He is actually a good deal bigger now than when I took that picture of him in 2014. The other idiot in there cleaning is me.

    I`ve been lurking and reading in this forum for half a year, after reading all your books and starting the novice LP. I've read every new thread and article, and a lot of the old ones. But this one finally drew me out to register.

    Great reminder. Hassan those are great results. I hope more folks find those types of before and afters motivating. I stop by the Westminster Strength and Conditioning site a lot as the stories and visuals shared are great. Easy for me to show others "real people with real results" to help motivate them to see what training and nutrition can do when applied correctly.
