    Default Which Novice Routine?

    Alright so I'm stuck between two different novice routines you have written out. Should I do your SS routine or this routine:

    Monday
    Squat
    Bench Press/Press
    Chin-Ups

    Wednesday
    Squat
    Press/Bench Press
    Deadlift

    Friday
    Squat
    Bench Press/Press
    Pull-Ups

    I'm 5'7", 157 lbs, ~15% BF and have been lifting for about two years but have recently switched to your SS routine to fix my form on each lift and do them correctly. I'm currently at the beginning of week 4 and it's going fine except for the power cleans which I just can't seem to get down. The only bad thing about my lifting is that I'm forced to do my squats and power cleans on carpet since that is where my squat stand is and it doesn't move. Which routine would you recommend - my main goal is just to get stronger and secondarily get bigger. Thanks for any help. All of your books have been a great help.

    Do the one that includes power cleans.
