    Default Repairing a barbell?

Does anyone know of any resources on repairing barbells? I picked up a used Ivanko and one end does not spin freely (even after overnight 3 in 1 oil lubrication). Specifically, how can the end cap be removed (it's domed with an offset hole).

Thanks. It looks like the hard part is getting the cap off w/o damage. If I screw it up I guess I'm spending another $45 for a SRK...

Side question: Does anyone know how to identify the specific model? The bar is smooth in the center and the knurling has one (non standard) mark on each side.

Sometimes it's on the end cap. If not, more details are needed. Post a few pictures. I'd also suggest posting on the Bodybuilding.com Equipment forum. There are some guys who know a heck of a lot about Ivanko over there.
